European Commissioner’s visit to DOK-ING
A high-level European visit, weeks of preparation and one day where everything had to land: communication, protocol and press, seamlessly.
01 · The brief
The brief
European Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra visited DOK-ING as part of a broader European tour supporting breakthrough innovations in sustainable energy and decarbonisation. The visit centred on the "S2H2: From Sludge to Hydrogen for a Circular Economy" project, funded by the EU Innovation Fund.
With the Commissioner, the Croatian Minister of Environmental Protection and Green Transition and the CEO of Hydrogen Europe in the room, the event required meticulous planning and coordination between multiple stakeholders.
02 · What we did
What we did
As communications and event partner we drafted and managed official letters and invitations to government and industry representatives, wrote and distributed press releases, ran media outreach and secured strong press coverage.
We oversaw photography and videography to document the key moments and coordinated the programme on site so that every stakeholder, from protocol to press, had exactly what they needed, when they needed it.
03 · The outcome
The outcome
The visit received widespread media coverage. Commissioner Hoekstra called DOK-ING "a spectacular company with innovations of the future" and affirmed the Commission’s commitment to supporting projects like Looper, Indeloop’s flagship innovation.
Beyond the headlines, the event reinforced Croatia’s position as a serious player in clean hydrogen production within Europe.
